Christmas Fundraising efforts 2014

The bag pack which took place at Sainsbury's Lancaster on Friday 19th December raised a grand total of £ 481.68

The Lancaster Boys and Girls Club held a Winter Wonderland Christmas Fair on Saturday 13th December on Dallas Road in Lancaster. The club is in need of raising money for the restoration of the building and to continue to offer the sessions and activities it runs for the young people as well as people in the community.

The event was a huge success raising£ 555.50 for the charity, with the event appealing to people of all ages. The raffle had over £1000 worth of prizes to be won courtesy of some local business in the area including Morrison’s, Stephen James, Merchants 1688 and The Borough as well as many more. Queen Elsa from the movie Frozen made a special appearance to sing and meet everyone for photographs; there were lots of activities and games for the whole family to enjoy. The Mayor of Lancaster attended the event to draw some prizes from the raffle, the Mayor also shown a keen interest in the activities and sessions in which the club provide for the young people and the community.
